Do’s and don’ts to making it through the seasons sales !!!

Sale Shopping Tips

Don’t buy items way out of season despite the price:
Great markdowns are always fun in this economy, however buying too many items for next winter as we move into the spring collection, means that they will sit in your closet for a whole year, which equates to a lack of what to wear in the now!

Do buy classic items that can take you all the year through:
Jeans, shoes  and accessories, will take you all throughout the year and will never be out of season!

Don’t shop the sales on the weekend:
You just won’t survive it! And you will slowly realise that no reduction on any item is worth fighting off the other bargain shoppers who make the January sales a life or death event.

Do shop on an early weekday morning:
The stores are fully restocked with all the sales have to offer and all the sizes they have instock. Associates are more willing to help you with your needs as they are not worn out by the red ticket bandit shoppers who have abused them for the duration of their 8 hour shift. Shopping earlier is much easier on your nerves, less shoppers to deal with and less mess to sort through to find your January bargain!

Last but not least, be frugal and prioritise:
This is one I constantly try and live by! Remember all those $29.95 can still add up to a whopping total. Don’t get too carried away with those red numbers on the price tags. Buy what you need within moderation, you will feel that much better about the steal you found and the money you saved not purchasing it full price!!!!

It is boiling hot, and if I were superwoman and I could be seen in a swimsuit after having a baby a couple of months ago, this is what I would be wearing to the beach…(big sigh) Perhaps another time.Off to the beach I go

Needless to say, we probably all have been invited to a barbeque  as labour day approaches. It is absolutely ok to step it up a notch. Hopefully your host will own a set of these Rockett St George Plastic Wine Glasses and they will go perfectly with your Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti Drop Waist Tribal Embroidered Tunic.

My first post!!

How do you do?

Yep….another blog here!!! I think there are amazing fahion and style blogs out there and I really enjoy reading them, so much so I thought I would start my own :)

So many of my clients and friends tend to ask me where I shop and how I get to always look the part no matter what. After a while of thinking this was just common knowledge for all people alike, I realised that looking trendy and stylish without going bankrupt is a gift from the guy upstairs himself.

I don’t mean to blow my own trumpet, I hope I am not coming across as such. I just want to give you guys the tools to look and feel your best and not feeling guilty about spending your mortgage cheque :)

So, couple of things you should know as you learn more about me. Some words may seem misspelt to you fab yankees, know that they are not!!!! I am English and tend to spell a lil differnetly from y’all lol, and since I am English any typos you see should be considered as a posh way of spelling things.

I am looking forward to taking this journey and I hope you follow me closely.

Love,
